So I don’t drink wine or any alcohol for that matter. I got this for my Dad. I asked what he’d rate it after a few uses and he told me 5 stars. Hence what I am giving it here.
The product has pretty solid construction and the accessories are useful such as the vacuum plug. But you’ll need to pump it many, many times to draw a vacuum so keep that in mind.
Also the first time I tried using it to open a bottle for my Dad it was struggling and didn’t work.
This is important. It was because I used some partially dead AA alkaline batteries! You’ll need 4 of them. It didn’t work because they were partially dead.
You need 4 Brand New Alkaline Batteries. Not super heavy duty or such. But good quality alkaline. You need it to allow it enough power.
Alternatively I found 4x EBL rechargeable batteries have no issues either. And they’ll keep full power until they are dead per NiMH discharge curve. Unlike Alkalines that get progressively weaker.
With the good batteries in it. Works great!
Update: 3 Years later and it is still working great. There are no issues so far and the rechargeable batteries last absolutely ages in it.
I don’t even know if I had to charge them again 1 time yet.

Really glad I purchased this! Beats manually opening wine! Super easy to use, really liked the foil cutter cause it fits around the top and you don’t really have to gauge if you’re on the foil or not. It has a stand for each piece to sit, it is battery powered so I like that because I have a bad habit of forgetting to charge. The cork screw works great, it pulls the cork up with press of button and then will also release the cork for you. Not sure on battery life yet, so far just opened one bottle. It would be a great gift for wine drinkers! Sleek modern design, comes with 2 bottle sealers. Glad I purchased, wish I would of got one a long time ago. Paid more for cheap manual ones over the years than this! Would definitely recommend this!

Arthritic hands so couldnot open wine bottles. Fast and easy. I only drink maybe 3 bottles a year so debated getting it
So worth it and inexpensive.

Bought it as a random gift I thought my mom would like about a year ago. She has all sorts of other wine openers but never uses them anymore. She seems more than happy with it so I’d say it was a pretty good buy for $20
